O Julissi, the Belgian entry for the 2008 Eurovision
O Julissi, the Belgian entry for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, has reached the first place in the Ultratop 50 single charts in Flanders, media report. Just like the previous two Flemish Eurovision Song Contest entrants, Xandee and Kate Ryan, Ishtar’s efforts have been rewarded with the top chart position.
Ishtar entered the Ultratop 50 at number seven last week. This week the group climbed to the first place. The winners of Eurosong, the Flemish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, traditionally score well in the charts since the introduction of Ultratop 50, the official single charts in Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels.
