Eurovision 2008 contestants on promo-tour

In the lead up to the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, participants travel across Europe to promote their songs, hoping to raise awareness and create buzz.

Ani Lorak, representing Ukraine at this year’s contest, is said to visit Malta in mid-April. Earlier, the Shady Lady visited the Baltic countries for promotionala activities.

Swedish hope Charlotte Perrelli will travel to Belgium and the Netherlands in early May, and Nico & Vlad from Romania will also come to Belgium for several promotional activities. They are also said to visit Spain and Cyprus. Greek pride Kolomira visited Romania for promotional activities. Sirusho from Armenia, currently projected as one of the favourites of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, is visiting Georgia to promote her Qele, Qele.
