Eurovision 2009 bookmakers make Azerbaijan one of the favorites. aku. Ulkar Gasimova–APA. The world’s leading bookmaker companies announced first Eurovision 2009 bets.
William Hill betting makes Norway’s singer Alexander Rybak a winner of the contest. Rybak and his “Fairytale” are on top-selection with price 2/1. Gamebookers also named Alexander Rybak a winner and evaluated his chance to win with index 3.25. Norway (3.00), Greece (6.00) and Turkey (10.00) are top three favorites in William Hill betting list, but Gamebookers placed Norway (3.25), Greece (5.50) and Azerbaijan (9.00) on top three. Turkey’s Hadise Achikgoz is 4th in Gamebookers betting with price 10/1 (10.00).
Bookmakers equal the Armenia’s chances to win Eurovision 2009 to zero. Armenia is 22nd (81.00) in the William Hill and 35th (126.00) in Gamebokkers betting lists. Belgium, Germany, Bulgaria, Belarus, the Netherlands, Lithuania Czech Republic, Albania, Macedonia, Andorra, Cyprus, Latvia, Croatia and Slovakia are also among the outsiders. Source
